LuLu's Desperate House Dogs (formerly the Bow Wow Blog)
LuLu's Desperate House Dogs is a blog about an eccentric little Beagle named LuLu, who, along with her sister Sadie (a Whippet/Terrier/Beagle blend), writes the lurid Puppies in Lust series, and absorbs local color in an idyllic, off-the-leash, canine-centered village known as Lincoln Park~

LuLu,
Could you use a Sussex spaniel on your blog?
Billycat, send in your cat's picture, then. Maybe we can use him or her as one of our mystery characters~
TM means "Trademarked."
Uh, same to you, Hy~
J. Keith,
Why not? Sam Spencer is a cavalier of the King Charles variety, and we're very fond of spaniels~

Hi LuLu, its me Lily, I check the blog every day but there are no new pictures of other dogs. I want to see some new friends. I wish someone would send you some pix!
This is different. I live across the hall from Anne and she has asked me to post something. I have a gold fish but would like to get a dog but I work all the time so wouldn't be able to spend much time with it. The gold fish doesn't care! Hope Anne's arm gets better and that you all keep up the goood work.

Anonymous....NO.
Getting snappish Lulu?
Jeesh, Ken, and we thought that you and the Puppy Angel had been nabbed by the dogcatcher.
When did Alcatraz become a federal prison?
Manuel, you are definitely paying attention to our story! Alcatraz belonged to the US Army from 1850 until 1933, when it was transferred to the Department of Justice and turned into a penitentiary. It opened for "business" in 1934. As for Mr. Hammett's Sam Spade -- he was chasing gunsels around San Francisco circa 1928, which leaves us with a six-year gap, which we decided to close. We have several references to the 1920s in our story, but also a few from the 1930s, and we're asking for a little poetic license here -- mainly as we badly wanted to put Bugsy Gatthamer on The Rock ~
Howdy, LuLu-- Thanks for the invite you left on Nomads Unlimited. Awesome pics. I've added your link to dailypie.blogspot.com. Did your guardian, Anne, write Tristate Terrors? I grew up in Bloomington, IN, home to the ever-lingering Mary Stepp of Stepp Cemetery.
