The Eye On The Park...
Dateline Washington, DC:
Mr. and Mrs. Ozzie A. Shepherd of Boca Raton, Florida (formerly of Lincoln Park), announce the leash-locking of their daughter, Sydney, to Senator (Prince) Paco Germain Shepherd, on March 28th, in our nation's capital.
The bride is a former intern, and the groom is the erstwhile co-ruler of Lincoln Park.
The leash-locking, another sensational "Leashing by Babs" (wedding planner Barbara Bull Terrier), was held at the groom's Georgetown doghouse, where the bride was attended by two of her twenty-seven sisters: Fiona Shepherd of Marina Del Rey, California, and Daphne Shepherd Chow of Charleston, South Carolina.
His Majesty King Rockie of Lincoln Park acted as best hound for Senator Paco.
The bride's cousin, popular entertainer Young Blue Eyes, sang a song he composed for he occasion, entitled "My Heart, a Frisbee, and You." His performance was a genuine pack pleaser, and he howled long into the night, accompanied by the Glenn Greyhound band, while guests danced, strutted, and tail sniffed.
The bride wore an Emma Rose Dynasty Dog gown from the Gilded Paw of Westlawn, Pennsylvania. She and the groom exchanged collars from the Lush Puppy of Las Vegas. Hers was pink and his was Monaco braided.
Aside from King Rockie and Young Blue eyes (who brought as their respective dates LuLu the Beagle and her sister Bleu Girl), celebrities attending the leash-locking included: UN Canine Council Veep Dacia the Schnauzer (wearing Gilded Paw), former supermodel Lily Hilton (wearing Barker&Meowsky of Chicago), international playboy Buddy Pepper, and Greek Schipperke heir George Alopekis.
Following a honey-ham trip to Australia, the happy couple will make their home in Washington, DC.

Dateline Lincoln Park:
"Not invited to the BIG leash-locking?" our editor Maggie (who got bumped by her boss LuLu) asked former hot stud Moxie, as the two nursed dogwood cocktails at the bar at Poppa Poochie's.
"What big leash-locking?" he arfed, as if he didn't know!
"Your old girlfriend, Sydney the Aussie Shepherd, just did the jump with Senator Paco," she informed him. "It's been all over the blogs and in all the dog magazines."
"I wish her happy," muttered Moxie, returning to his drink.
"Her cousin Young Blue Eyes showed up with LuLu's sister," Maggie went on. "Say! Wasn't she your recent bit of biscuit?"
"Excuse me," said Moxie, tossing some bowsers on the bar and hopping off his stool.
"Got to see a dog about a man?"
"No, I've got to get a dog to fly me back to France."
"What?"
"Things aren't working out here," explained the handsome Cavapoo. "My mom wants no part of me -- and I'm all tangled up in blue."
