LuLu's Desperate House Dogs (formerly the Bow Wow Blog)

LuLu's Desperate House Dogs is a blog about an eccentric little Beagle named LuLu, who, along with her sister Sadie (a Whippet/Terrier/Beagle blend), writes the lurid Puppies in Lust series, and absorbs local color in an idyllic, off-the-leash, canine-centered village known as Lincoln Park~

The puppies are very sweet but since when did Ken have his own holiday?

Since Ken designated it. I think we even have more than one a year. But, hey, a holidays a holiday.

Molly, if memory serves, Ken also got his own holiday at Christmas. Could LDHD know something we don't?

Everybody, last Christmas, we wished one and all a Happy every-holiday-in-the-book, but Ken (the irrepressible old typo terrier) posted to tell us we'd managed to forget HIS holiday.

These days we use "Ken's Holiday" as "et cetera" on LDHD.

That said, we look forward to seeing every dog in the Lincoln Park area at the 2006 Squirrel Roll tomorrow morning out by the woodpile in the forest.

And just in case you missed it: Happy Ken's Holiday, Ken~

Uh, a brief correction. We use "Ken's Holiday" as "et cetera" when listing holidays. Obviously we don't use it all the time in place of "etc.," but, you know, we could. After all, who bothers to learn Latin these days? So the next time you make a list, try using "KH" instead of "etc."

It is shorter, after all.

And we warned you on our opening page that LDHD was a "perfectly silly" blog~

Hey lulu, there's soon to be a another lulu in your neighborhood and its a beagle, too. Yep, saw it this eve. An 8 wk old tiny puggle (pug-beagle mix) named lulu. She too is really cute.

And btw, my guardian said she'd like to have one of those cute lil pups in the pic. I told her to forget it, I'm all she needs. But I must admit they are cute (but then they're poodles, of course, like me).

Are you dogs kaflooie? I've never been pregnant! Besides, Rockie is a coon-dog/Lab mix and I'm a beagle. Nestle said puppy LuLu is a puggle -- which is a pug and beagle mix. Hello?

After Lulu and Rockie's romp in the park last night I can see why people are talking puppies. Talk about serious indecency in the park!

9:42 AM
Anonymous Anonymous said...

Yes, anonymous, it was a romp.
A matter of perception, however, as I thought it looked like mere puppy love. Romping and rolling playfully in the warm, spring grass paying attention only to each other.
Now, Spencer, on the other hand -- the park's future king? -- his fervent, lustful, displays of 'affection' toward lily, that's 'R' rated. Have you seen these two anonymous? Makes me yearn for my younger days.

Nestle,

Could I call upon you for a deposition?

Could LuLu be cheating on Rockie with a pug?

Why Wendy, you being a chipmumk, you can call on me for anything --I LOVE chipmunks! BTW, does deposition have anything to do with digestion?

anonymous, I think you might have something there. Lulu with a park pug. hmmm. lulu,jr. Wonder what the the king will do if he suspects?

We know Lulu likes the boys, but this could break Rockie's heart.

We are Siamese if you please; we are Siamese if you don't please...

Actually, we're not Siamese, Molly, but we are cats, and that means we are better than you.

In fact, we are better than other cats -- especially that slack bag of stale catnip, Firbawl, who will soon get taken out by Macro Mouse.
